Course Description

Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a professional healthcare programme that prepares students to become registered nurses. Students learn patient care, clinical procedures, medication administration, emergency response, maternal and child health, community health nursing, and healthcare management. The programme includes extensive clinical rotations at teaching hospitals including Muhimbili National Hospital, Bugando Medical Centre, KCMC, and regional hospitals. Graduates are prepared for careers in hospitals, clinics, community health centers, schools, and NGOs.

Entry Requirements

Three principal passes in Chemistry, Biology, and either Physics or Advanced Mathematics or Nutrition with a minimum of 6 points. Minimum "C" grade in Chemistry and "D" grade in Biology, and at least "E" grade in Physics/Mathematics/Nutrition. Minimum entry points: 6.0.
