Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is a professional degree programme offered at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) and KCMUCo. Students study oral anatomy, dental pathology, restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. The programme includes clinical rotations at Muhimbili National Hospital, Bugando Medical Centre, and regional dental clinics. Graduates can work in government hospitals, private dental clinics, and public health services across Tanzania.
